What is PeriodicTable.io?

Our tagline is: A community owned “Periodic Table of the Elements” on the Cardano™ blockchain.

PeriodicTable.io is a complete, accurate and visually stimulating “Periodic Table of Elements” all living on the Cardano blockchain. It is made up of Element Block NFTs, PeriodicTable.io Website and ELEMENT Fungible Token. For more information read our Litepaper or see the ELEMENT Token area on this site.

Why was this project created?

As crypto enthusiasts and more specifically huge fans of Cardano, we wanted to bring together Cardano and one of our other interests science. What better than to offer a Periodic Table of Elements where you can own a piece of art and an element all at once. In addition we want to promote the growth of Cardano and help spread the word. By allowing NFT owners to publish their own content on the web. This could be advertising their own project on our site, showcasing their business or just something fun in the space.

Do you have a native token?

Yes. The Cardano native token ELEMENT with policy id: fb59da920d029dde957b556d981046a9102698ed70797da5908e4634.
This Cardano based fungible token is used when submitting NFT owner data, farming and other project related activities.

Where can I buy the PeriodicTable.io NFTs?

The initial mint will take place here on our website with NMKR on April 12th 2024. We will publish information with plenty of time before the mint starts so everyone knows when and how to proceed. Aftermarket sales will be available on jpg.store among other Cardano based NFT aftermarket sales platforms. 

How many NFTs exist and what is the total supply of ELEMENT?

Currently only 118 element NFT blocks exist. That is one NFT per element on the periodic table of elements. These are rare 1 of 1 NFTs. A total supply of 100 million (100,000,000) ELEMENT tokens exist.

How do I get ELEMENT Token?

In May of 2024 we will perform an airdrop to all NFT holders. It may also be possible to win ELEMENT token via our marketing efforts. After the airdrop ELEMENT will be available to buy or trade on Minswap.

When can NFT owners submit content for their URL page?

We are rolling our website out in (2) phases. First the basic website with all information about the project. Before the NFT mint, we will publish phase 2 which will include all the element individual URLs/pages containing the element information. From here once ELEMENT token goes live it can be used by NFT owners to submit and publish their content. It will take a small amount of ELEMENT to be paid each time content is added or updated.

Does the project take a percentage of aftermarket sales?

Yes, in aftermarket sales we will collect a small 5% fee. This seems to be fairly standard in the industry.
